Daniel made his debut aged 15, away at Dorchester United Reserves. He captained the U18-s side, winning the league in both seasons as U18-s. Having left the club to go to university in Bristol he played for Wellington and Almondsury in the Western league. He returned to Blandford in 2009 and was made club captain.
