Mini-Soccer. "Get Into Football"
We start mini- soccer at school year 2.

If your son or daughter has shown an interest in football, our Saturday morning mini training sessions will be of interest.

With the emphasis on having fun and enjoyment, sessions are for children to try out football for the first time. We cater for children of all abilities from keen enthusiasts to tentative beginners. We welcome both boys and girls.
Located in front of the pavilion (handy for toilets) with ample parking, Larksmead Recreation Ground is the home of Blandford Youth Football Club mini-soccer.

Your child will need football boots, shin pads, a drink and snack. Prepare them for playing outdoors. This means warm clothing during the winter months and sun tan lotion on warm and sunny days.
You’ll need to stay with your child for moral support. If you’re staying, then you might also want to join in. Children love their mums or dads being involved and you’ll be amazed at how invigorated you feel from the fresh air!

Our football coaches are all voluntary; starting with mini soccer is how most of us started coaching.

Starting in mini-soccer is a great way for your children to burn off their excess energy, make new friends and have fun and enjoyment. Get them involved, get into football.

Cost: £1.50 per session, plus a one time, £5 signing on fee to cover insurance and equipment
